LYNELLE PALENCIA, Owner/CEO

She has dedicated over 30 years of her life to education, working with children and young adults. She found her love of music in elementary school when she accidentally discovered she could play anything with strings, but being too practical at the time to study music in college, decided to go into education. Lynelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. She holds a Virginia teaching license with endorsements in elementary education, special education and administration and supervision. When the opportunity arose to start a music school, her amazing business-man husband was behind her and gave the creative team the business knowledge necessary to make it happen! She has diverse musical interests ranging from musical theater tunes to Yo-Yo Ma to The Grateful Dead to Prince. Her dream is for Crescendo Studios to be an inclusive, welcoming environment where people of all abilities and backgrounds who enjoy music can come to learn, progress and perform.
